NYC Restaurant Week is about attracting customers inside restaurants. During four weeks, 292 participating establishments offer a special price for customers to dine out. You can find all participating restaurants in a Google Map at the NYC Restaurant Week website.
With so many restaurants on board how do you choose where to go?
You can search by neighborhood, cuisine, or meal and see their menus online. The internet has made it easier for us (consumers) to choose where to go. Additionally, this year NYCgo added one more clever feature to help customers choose - See Inside. This is Google Street View for Businesses, a Google Virtual Tour allow customers go inside the restaurants and look around as if they were there. An immersive 360º interactive experience of the establishment.
Did you knew that two thirds of participating restaurants already have a Virtual Tour?
Asellina and La Mar Cebicheria Peruana are two of many participating restaurants that added a Google Virtual Tour recently. The process is affordable, fast, and non-obtrusive. For example, the photographs of Asellina took us 2 hours - while they were still serving lunch - and the photographs of La Mar about an hour. It's faster when there aren't people in the establishment, as in the case of La Mar Cebicheria Peruana. Whether with or without people, we make sure not to interrupt the operation of the restaurant. Once the photographs are taken we take care of the rest in our studio.
Sign up now to get a Google Virtual Tour at a discount off regular price. This summer special expires the last day of August.
