Back in January 2013, I wrote that Google Virtual Tours were to become a bona fide marketing tool, eleven months after GVT are a must have for businesses such as hotels, restaurants, office rentals, retail stores, medical, and dental offices among many others.

This was the first of our bi-weekly email / post of the year. After, when I wrote about the elevator feature and smart navigation on Street View, you were in mind. My hope is that these brief posts help you stay up to date with the latest developments about Google Business Photos and possibly give some insights on implementations to get real results.

I posted on our blog examples of clients that accomplished brilliant integrations between Virtual Tour and website, and even dared to say that Google Virtual Tours were to become another signal to adjust ratings of businesses online. (A delicate subject matter with all the ongoing antitrust investigations surrounding Google.)

Throughout many of my interactions with business owners, marketing directors, and managers, I was asked about the process, later explained in the behind scene post. In May I published The best time to add a google virtual tour is now unless the ideal time is foreseeable and Event venues can benefit greatly from a google virtualtour-six ways to add value.

Later in the summer, Asellina and La Mar Cebicheria Peruana restaurants were featured in the post Google Virtual Tours summer special during the NYC Restaurant Week.  After,  My experience with Google Business Photos and In the age of google a picture is more than a thousand words were published.

With the year coming to an end, hospitality businesses - hotels, restaurants, cafes…. are adding Google Virtual Tours faster than any other industry, followed by retail and real estate. These businesses are experiencing a first mover advantage in an environment that changes constantly. Many of these are implementing their marketing strategies aligned with current trends, such as customer’s choice first and truthful representations of their business locations. Google Business Photos strengthen this course of action helping businesses, shape their niche, market to local customers, and increase global awareness.

It’s exciting to witness all this. At Myarchn Photography we are prepared to welcome and embrace new challenges and opportunities in 2014 and continue with laser focus on our mantra - “establish meaningful and long term relationships to best serve clients, doing what we love.”

We are booking photo shoots until December 18 of this year. Want your Google Virtual live before the year ends? Call us ASAP and get our end of the year special deal.
